Our compliance reminders, AI assistant, and expiry tracking are tools to help you stay organised — but you are responsible for your own compliance. Always verify your obligations with a qualified legal professional or contact your local authority.
Missing a certificate deadline despite receiving reminders from us does not transfer liability to The Landlord Mate. You remain solely responsible for meeting your legal obligations as a landlord.
Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of your first payment.
Because The Landlord Mate is a digital service and you gain immediate access to all features on payment, by proceeding with payment you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate performance of the contract. If you cancel within the 14-day period, your refund will reflect the proportion of that time you used the service, rather than an automatic full refund.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
